I enjoy extracting the correlation of similar elements in different spaces. This helps me use real scenes as a starting point to create scenes in my mind that combine imagination and reality. When I was a kid, I used to dream about becoming small and traveling in these scenes, and now I want to capture that feeling again. The theme of my works, path, represents connection and communication. Starting from the road in the city, I associate it with the tunnels in the underground world, and then to the gaps between coral beneath the sea. I show these paths from overhead, eye-level and upward views respectively, linking them together to make the drawings feel both real and magical, reflecting how my imagination expand. The tiny figures in the works move from the orderly organized city to the more colorful and organic nature. It represents my thoughts escaping from the daily city life and rediscovering the joy of roaming in daydreams.
